Welcome to Hudson Flower Farm — home of LoRiLy Bliss at Care Free Root Acres, nestled in vintage Hudson, Colorado, right off I-76 and Highway 52. (Pronounced LOR-ehh-Lee Bliss), our name is deeply personal. “Lo” is me, “Ri” is my mom, Ria, and “Ly” represents Lyn — our dear friend, private investor, and partner who helped turn this dream into reality.
We are a mother-and-daughter owned flower farm, built from a simple idea that blossomed into something much bigger. While on a quilting retreat, we dreamed of opening a small holistic shop. That idea grew into a vision for a brick-and-mortar space… and from there, with the land already in our family and support from my dad, Hudson Flower Farm was born as a seasonal U-Pick experience.
Now entering just our second year of blooms — and our second year open to the public — we are still growing, learning, and pouring love into every inch of this farm.
Our property carries over 100 years of history as a former dairy farm. Today, we’ve transformed the old dairy parlor and office into our farm shop, with plans to host workshops and experiences in the seasons ahead. The original birthing barn now houses our flock of over 20 chickens and 3 ducks — adding even more life to our little haven.
Beyond flowers, our roots are in beekeeping. For over five years, we’ve cared for our bees, harvesting honey and creating homemade goods and handcrafted items we’re proud to share.
Hudson Flower Farm is more than a business — it’s a place where family, history, and a love for nature come together.
Lorily Bliss
